Hibbett, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager at Alamogordo, NM to support store operations under the Store Manager. You will lead customer service, merchandising, restocking, and scheduling while ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.

This role trains staff, handles daily administrative tasks, and steps in for the Store Manager as needed. Based in Veterans Plaza location, the hourly position offers $16.65 per hour with Non-Exempt status and reports to Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits.
• Is a self-starter with initiative and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist in overall personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
