You will support opening/closing, merchandising, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention while coaching Store Associates.

The role emphasizes maintaining a safe, friendly shopping experience, enforcing company policies, and ensuring merchandise availability and attractive displays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits/receipts), and loss prevention.
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash, and keep areas neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
