Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. Under the Store Manager's direction, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, and help with deposits while protecting assets and reducing losses.

You will also participate in scheduling, training, cash handling, and ensuring planograms are followed. The role includes assisting in the absence of the Store Manager and maintaining profitability through strong customer focus.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures manuals.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership at the register and assist customers.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling and training of employees and conduct safety meetings.
• Manage merchandise flow: receive, stock, restock, and build displays per planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control damages, markdowns, and deposits.
• Ensure cash control, refunds, and cash handling procedures are followed.
• Support the Store Manager in the Store Manager's absence.
