Job summary

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Cheswick store and assist the Store Manager in daily operations, supervising staff, driving sales, and delivering customer-focused service.

You will engage in leadership, customer service, and operational tasks while aiming to meet performance targets, with opportunities to grow within a mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of management experience.
• Internal Candidates will be considered with High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of experience in the Goodwill Team Leader role.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to staff, program participants, donors, and customers to achieve production and quality goals, meet sales expectations, and ensure the store/ outlet operates efficiently.
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures required of retail staff, so that retail operations reflect both a positive internal and external appearance.
• Possess excellent oral/ written communication, organizational, management, and problem-solving skills and demonstrate attention to detail and customer service.
