Job summary

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Bridgeport, WV to support the Store Manager and oversee daily retail operations. The role involves supervising staff and ensuring store goals for production, quality, and sales are met in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings a high school diploma or equivalent with management experience; additional retail experience is preferred, and local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent AND 1 year of experience in management required.
• Internal Candidates will be considered with High school diploma or equivalent AND 6 months of experience in the Goodwill Team Leader role required.
• Experience in retail, including fast food, re-sale, or manufacturing/production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to staff, program participants, donors, and customers, ensuring production and quality goals are achieved and sales expectations are met.
• Ensure staff and facilities apply policies and procedures to reflect a positive internal and external appearance.
• Oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and supervise assigned personnel.
