Sprouts Farmers Market in San Ramon, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations and drive sales, team engagement, and customer advocacy. You will oversee perishable and non-perishable departments, coach a team of ~10 department Managers and Receivers, and ensure compliance with safety and quality programs.

The role emphasizes leadership, P&L oversight, inventory control, and excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred in business-related field.
• 1-3 years of retail experience with relevant leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Positively shape the culture in the store by modeling leadership behaviors.
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people (Department Managers and Receivers) with courtesy and integrity.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking with attention to dates and sanitation.
• P&L ownership - manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets.
