Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Blackshear, GA. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, and help train store associates while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, loss prevention, and maintaining inventory, displays, and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a friendly manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized.
• Protect company assets and ensure store security.
• Enforce policies, safety guidelines, and procedures.
• Assist Store Manager in training and developing associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of store, bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
