Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a team, and assist with hiring and onboarding of associates. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to drive sales performance and maintain operational excellence.

The role focuses on customer experience, compliance, inventory control, and merchandising execution. Strong communication, organization, and adaptability are essential for a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and service standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver customer service.
• Assist with inventory control, inventory transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and service.
• Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training support.
• Maintain a safe, organized store environment.
• Enforce merchandising and visual standards.
• Perform additional duties to support store operations.
