Job summary

Sally Beauty is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store teams, drive sales and KPIs, and uphold brand standards in our Rapid City store. The role emphasizes development of associates, execution of store processes, and strong customer service to ensure an exceptional in-store and omni-channel experience.

You will supervise daily activities, recruit and coach staff, manage scheduling and payroll, and ensure compliance with company policies. Cosmetology license is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives
• Can effectively communicate with team and management
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: supervises and plans associates' daily goals to deliver an exceptional client experience and maximize sales and KPIs
• 30% People: trains and develops teams, recruits to fill positions, coaches and counsels as needed, communicates company info
• 30% Operations: ensures execution of company processes and supports digital strategies including Omni-channel fulfillment
• Store payroll hours management and scheduling, opening/closing procedures, adherence to directives
• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: maintains safe store environment and inventory/cash controls, hazmat training compliance
