Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Winter Haven, FL. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise flow, and ensure a clean, safe shopping environment for customers and employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail management experience in grocery, drug, or convenience retail preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Assist customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain storefront fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged items, and recordkeeping.
• Keep store areas clean, stocked, and well-presented.
• Protect store assets including cash and proper loss prevention.
