Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Vancouver, WA to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and help train and supervise store associates to maintain a positive, safe environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, inventory tasks, loss prevention, and ensuring clean, well-stocked floors.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret operational directives.

Aufgaben

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff follow procedures
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful customer- and team-facing environment
• Ensure cleanliness and restocking of bathrooms; keep floors clean and neat
• Other duties as assigned
