Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Springdale location. You will assist with daily functions, help customers, and ensure clean, organized aisles and stockrooms.

The role involves helping with merchandising, opening/closing, staff training, and enforcing safety policies. A strong customer-service focus and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, bending, and moving

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Support customers with a positive, approachable service mindset
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process directives and store communications
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and cleanliness
• Assist in ordering, damaged merchandise, records, and cash handling
