Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Shelby, MT to help oversee store operations, support customers, and develop the store team. The role involves merchandise handling, payroll tasks, scheduling, and loss prevention to ensure a well‑stocked, welcoming store environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior store management experience is preferred. This is a part-time, on-site position with focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Retail store management experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns
• Organize merchandise and maintain stockrooms and sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and maintain store communications
• Maintain promotional displays and store cleanliness
• Assist in ordering merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and loss prevention
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment and professional interactions
• Other duties as assigned
