Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Missoula, MT to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flows smoothly from delivery to sales floor.

The role involves opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling tasks, store-wide cleanliness, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment. A high-energy, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and other physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
