Job summary

Family Dollar in Sauk City, WI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in retail or grocery. You must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and work in a fast-paced team setting, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effects of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and protect assets.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
