Job summary

Family Dollar in Town of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and support the Store Manager.

Responsibilities include merchandising, opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, and maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly store environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and explain directives.
• Retail store management experience in grocery/drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Provide friendly customer service and address questions
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
