Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Gainesville, FL to assist with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help organize merchandise, supervise associates, and ensure policies are followed to maintain a safe, efficient store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention tasks
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and protect assets
• Train and develop Store Associates and ensure policy compliance
