Job summary

Family Dollar in Clovis, NM is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, deliver friendly customer service, and develop the team.

You will assist with merchandising, open and close procedures, scheduling, payroll, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, organized store.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash handling), and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
