Job summary

Family Dollar in Hobbs, NM is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, supervise Store Associates, and ensure a clean, organized store aligned with company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and stockroom.
• Protect store assets and follow safety policies.
• Process directives and support payroll, scheduling, and deposits.
