Family Dollar in Clovis, NM is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day store operations, customer service, and team development.

In this part-time role, you will assist with merchandise flow, open/close procedures, training, scheduling, loss prevention, and maintaining clean, well-stocked floors.

You will work with a team to deliver friendly service, follow company policies, and help ensure a safe, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits/receipts), and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom per company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies including safety guidelines and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep store clean including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
