Job summary

The North Face in Livermore is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead, develop, and motivate a team of Brand Advocates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience aligned with our brand values. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive profitability through excellence in engagement, merchandising, and operations.

This role requires 2+ years of retail leadership, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a track record of coaching diverse teams, strong communication, and comfort

• Proven ability to drive results through store teams and exceed sales and profit goals.
• Skilled in coaching, motivating, and building high-performing, diverse teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
• Solution-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Capable of working independently, managing shifting priorities, and meeting business expectations.
• Comfortable using word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Brand Advocates to deliver best-in-class customer experience.
• Partner with the Store Manager to drive profitability through engagement, merchandising, and operations.
• In the Store Manager’s absence, assume full responsibility for the store.
• Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding with high-caliber talent.
• Provide ongoing training, feedback, and development to team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Manage expenses, shrink, and visual merchandising adherence.
• Maintain stock levels and product replenishment per brand directives.
