Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with merchandise organization, opening/closing duties, and ensuring store standards are maintained.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and prior store management experience; strong communication and teamwork are essential for a positive, safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and store activity communications.
