Foot Locker in Reno is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, coach the team, and keep the store operating smoothly. This hands-on leadership role requires energy, ownership, and a customer-first mindset to bring sneaker culture to life on the floor.

As Manager on Duty when scheduled, you will support hiring and training, protect shrink, and leverage retail technology to enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.
• Previous experience as a Key Holder, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager.
• Experience in a fast paced or high volume retail environment.
• Interest in pursuing long term career growth in retail leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and ownership.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and assisting customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Maintain store organization, readiness, and adherence to SOPs for safety and loss prevention.
• Take an owner/operator mindset and address issues to uphold standards.
• Leverage store tech to enhance customer experience and operations.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled and lead with direction.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training of store associates.
