Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Winston-Salem, NC to support daily operations, lead a sales team, and collaborate with the Store Manager on hiring, onboarding, and development.

You will drive sales performance, ensure operational excellence, maintain customer experience standards, and help manage inventory, losses, and merchandising with a focus on growth and leadership from within Citi Trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an assistant manager or retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and people leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals, customer experience standards, and operational expectations.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training support; maintain staffing levels.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to associates.
• Ensure adherence to policies and loss prevention standards; execute merchandising standards.
