Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Evanston, WY to collaborate with the Store Manager on operations, staffing, and customer engagement. This role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and maintaining merchandising standards to drive store sales and customer satisfaction.

The position supports a dynamic team focused on community engagement, service excellence, and adherence to company policies. Candidates should be prepared for varied shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, provide coaching, actionable feedback, and recognition of excellence; be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to adapt to changing business needs; adjust store schedule and support interviewing and hiring.
• Assist with partner training plans to improve store performance in operations and merchandising.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on inventory, merchandising, and community outreach events.
