Job summary

Famous Footwear in the United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who can lead the team and deliver an exceptional family shopping experience. You will act as the store leader in the absence of the Store Manager, coach associates, and help achieve sales targets and growth goals.

You will partner with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and develop staff, manage daily operations, and uphold brand standards across inventory, pricing, and presentation.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of sales experience (retail preferred).
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training people.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate with store associates.
• Ability to train, coach and develop associates for engaging customer experiences.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

• Inspire associates to build customer connections and deliver superior service.
• Recruit and hire with the Store Manager, seeking top talent for sales growth.
• Maintain retail operations, pricing, shipping, and inventory to support store standards.
