Famous Footwear in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will lead in the store’s absence, coach a team, and drive customer engagement to deliver an outstanding shopping experience for families.

You’ll balance coaching and hands-on operations, from staffing and training to inventory and implementation of pricing and presentation standards, while keeping customers at the heart of every decision.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience (retail preferred).
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop associates to deliver engaging customer experiences.
• Demonstrates independent judgment and problem-solving in a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of general retail practices and customer service standards.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsabilidades

• Inspire associates with integrity and drive to build customer relationships and deliver operational excellence.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to interview, hire, and develop top talent for the store.
• Manage daily operations, including pricing, shipping, and inventory, aligned with store standards.
• Drive sales and use insights to improve store performance and customer outcomes.
• Foster a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and a proactive mindset.
• When the Store Manager is away, act as the Store Manager’s right hand and uphold policies and trainings.
