Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development in Sparta, GA. You will assist with merchandise flow, inventory, and store directives while helping train and mentor Store Associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain a well-stocked, organized sales floor and stockroom.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and maintaining inventory records.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safety guidelines.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.
