Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug stores is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in merchandise ordering, damaged goods processing, payroll/scheduling records, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Assist Store Manager with supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restocked bathrooms, floors swept and mopped, trash removed and areas neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
