Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• Retail management experience in store, grocery, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with positive, approachable service and answer questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and store communications.
• Maintain storefront fixtures, displays, and promotional materials.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect company assets including store cash.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep store clean including bathrooms, floors, and general areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
