Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Wilkesboro, NC to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with daily store activities, supervise associates, and ensure store standards and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform repetitive motions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention measures.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates; maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain clean and well-stocked store areas; ensure store assets including cash are secured.
