Job summary

Qualifications

• Read, interpret and explain operational directives and merchandising schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays; ensure store is clean and organized.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Protect assets and follow safety policies; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
