Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Monument, CO location.

The role focuses on helping with day-to-day store activities, organizing merchandise, and supervising staff to ensure a positive shopping experience. This is a part-time position with emphasis on a strong customer service orientation and operations execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and must be readable and interpretable.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform duties requiring walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Assist in organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process directives and communications related to store activities
• Maintain promotional displays and overall storefront appearance
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and cash handling, and loss prevention
• Maintain clean and organized store areas and secure assets
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Maintain cleanliness of store facilities including restrooms and floors
• Other duties as assigned
