Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Menominee, Michigan to support store operations, customer service and team development. The role requires assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise, and aiding in opening/closing procedures.

You will help implement directives, maintain promotional displays, oversee ordering and loss prevention, and ensure a clean, secure, and welcoming sales floor. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Must be able to read and interpret operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery truck, stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store records.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention responsibilities.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas.
• Protect store assets including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment.
• Maintain bathroom cleanliness and overall store upkeep.
• Other duties as assigned.
