Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and frequent walking/standing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas, including a neat, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash receipts).
• Protect company assets and ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
