Job summary

Vitality Bowls California is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the shift, manage daily operations, and drive customer service excellence. You will supervise staff, handle inventory, and ensure compliance with food safety standards, while promoting a positive and efficient store culture.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience, familiarity with POS systems, and the ability to work a 35+ hour schedule including mornings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year supervisor experience.
• Proficiency with technology such as POS software and emails.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 40 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and availability for 35+ hours per week including mornings/nights/weekends.
• Restaurant or food experience preferred.
• Food safety certification or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift-level operations and assist in growing sales and managing financials.
• Coach, train and motivate team; maintain high food safety and allergen standards.
• Oversee inventory, scheduling, and labor to meet productivity metrics.
• Ensure excellent customer service and accurate cash handling.
