Job summary

Vitality Bowls in California is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead shift-level operations and drive sales while maintaining exceptional customer service. You will support the Store Manager, coach staff, manage inventory, and ensure safety and quality in every item prepared.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience, strong POS skills, and availability for a full or part-time schedule including mornings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisor experience.
• Available to work a minimum of 35 hours per week and all day-parts including mornings, nights, and weekends.
• Proficiency with technology such as POS software and emails.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and regularly lift 40 pounds.
• Maintain a clean and work appropriate personal appearance.
• Restaurant or food experience preferred.
• A positive and uplifting attitude!
• Has a food safety certification or is willing to become food safety certified.

Responsibilities

• Assist in growing sales and managing financials during shifts.
• Lead the team, coach and train, and ensure customer service quality.
• Oversee inventory levels, scheduling, and productivity metrics.
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and labor laws; follow policies and procedures.
• Promote a positive, uplifting culture and teamwork.
• Handle banking, deposits, and cash reports.
