Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in South Plainfield, NJ to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and help with opening/closing procedures.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, with a focus on maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient shopping environment. Part-time hours and opportunities to train staff are included.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and functions.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
