Job summary

Wild Bill's Tobacco in Conneaut, Ohio, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, lead staff, deliver great customer service, and drive sales. This development role prepares you for a future Retail Store Manager position.

You will help recruit and train employees, manage inventory, schedule, and ensure a welcoming environment for customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays.
• Flexible to work 12-hour shifts at times.
• Standing for long periods and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and retaining store employees.
• Assist in managing and developing employees for optimal performance.
• Develop teams' selling skills and educate staff about products.
• Ensure smooth operations: inventory, scheduling, and promotions.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries.
• Open and close the store; work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
