Job summary

Wild Bill’s Tobacco is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, lead staff, and ensure exceptional customer service while driving sales. This development role prepares you for a future Store Manager position.

You will recruit and develop team members, manage inventory and scheduling, promote promotions, and maintain a safe, welcoming store environment consistent with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of store operations and inventory management.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for transactions and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and retaining store employees.
• Assist in managing and developing store employees for optimal performance in sales and store operations.
• Assist in developing teams selling skills.
• Assist in educating the team about the products sold in store.
• Ensure smooth store operations, including inventory, expenses, promotions, and scheduling.
• Provide excellent customer service, including handling inquiries and complaints.
