Job summary

StorageMart is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team. You will support store operations, assist the Store Manager to grow sales, and deliver friendly, responsive service to customers.

This role requires light maintenance, outdoor work, and occasional travel between stores. A valid driver's license and vehicle are needed, with mileage reimbursed. Competitive wage and retirement plan benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Retail sales and administrative experience is a plus (training provided for the right candidate!).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors and maintain the grounds.
• A valid driver’s license, valid insurance, and vehicle; mileage reimbursed for travel between stores.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Operations: Collaborate with the Store Manager to enhance business growth and maximize sales.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with customers through phone, face-to-face, and email.
• Maintain Our Facility: Open, operate, and close the office; light maintenance and cleaning of the property.
• Manage Accounts: Handle customer accounts, assist with account setup, and oversee admin tasks including debt management.
• Travel Between Locations: Occasionally support other stores while maintaining standards.
