Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Help organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets including cash.
• Ensure policy and safety guidelines are followed.
• Help store manager supervise and develop associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
