Total Wine & More is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in New Jersey to grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and creating a distinctive world of beverages for customers. You will report to the Store Manager and drive sales while supporting payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink control.

The role emphasizes building a sales-driven culture, leading a trained team, and maintaining regulatory compliance for alcohol sales while providing a welcoming, knowledgeable store

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent retail management experience.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team.
• Support payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink control.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure legal alcohol sales compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
