Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Winter Haven, FL to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, and ensure the store remains well-stocked and compliant with policies.

The role involves supervising and training Store Associates, maintaining a safe, friendly environment, and handling openings/closings and basic payroll tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties including walking, standing, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and related communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
