Job summary

Dollar Tree in Miami Gardens, FL seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily functions, organize merchandise, supervise associates, and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming shopping environment.

This role involves payroll/scheduling, cash handling, and adherence to corporate directives, while maintaining promotional effectiveness and loss prevention measures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery, stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Handle payroll, scheduling, cash deposits, and receipts; support loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment and uphold company policies.
