Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC. in Coral Springs, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day activities, help train staff, and ensure the store meets company standards. Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, merchandise organization, loss prevention, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Help organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotions and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, and record-keeping.
• Maintain a neat, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect store assets including cash and equipment.
• Ensure policy compliance and safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
