Daily Thread is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Aurora, IL to drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will help shape store strategy, align the team with company values, and oversee opening/closing, inventory, and visual merchandising.

The role emphasizes coaching, strong communication, and hands-on leadership to meet store objectives and develop staff. It is a 32-40 hour per week position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience, ideally 1+ years in Assistant Manager duties.
• Results-oriented with a strong sales focus and ability to lead a team.
• Positive, high-energy, friendly personality with initiative in customer interactions.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and corporate partners.
• Proficient with POS systems, MS Word, MS Excel, and email.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds when merchandising the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Exceed personal and store sales goals and coach team members.
• Devise and implement sales strategies to optimize revenue and customer experience.
• Capture and manage client information including phone, email, and addresses.
• Demonstrate problem-solving to address customer needs and objections.
• Maintain knowledge of store merchandise, pricing, and layout.
• Keep store clean and visually merchandised to standard.
• Utilize POS, CRM, and inventory tools effectively.
• Follow loss prevention measures and operational policies.
• Assist Store Manager in coaching and onboarding new employees.
• Support recruitment and interviewing with seamless onboarding.
