The position is full-time with an average of 38 hours per week and a starting wage of $26.00 per hour. A wage increase to $27.00 per hour is planned in Year 2, reflecting career growth within our retail operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Meets state alcoholic beverage handling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities for direct reports to improve performance.
• Model company values to foster teamwork and engagement.
• Monitor local market conditions to maintain competitive position.
• Provide product feedback and make recommendations on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
• Communicate weekly updates and milestones to the team.
• Ensure inventory procedures and cash controls are followed.
• Resolve customer concerns in the leader's absence.
• Identify hazards and maintain safe store equipment and ergonomics.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper store signage.
• Assist with stock levels and product ordering.
• Merchandise products neatly to maximize sales.
• Ensure product quality and accurate signage.
• Support payroll and loss prevention efforts.
