Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Chaska, MN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, perform opening/closing procedures, and help oversee payroll, scheduling and loss prevention with a positive, team-oriented leadership style.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform extensive walking and standing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and daily activities.
• Help customers with questions in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and orderly stockrooms.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and friendly store environment.
