Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations and drive profitable growth. You will oversee customer interactions, product operations, merchandising, and talent development to deliver a best-in-class experience.

You will coach Leads and Brand Associates, manage schedules, and collaborate with the General Manager to achieve performance goals. Flexibility for holiday and weekend shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent communication with customers and team.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and using retail tech.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and profitable growth.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area and implement action plans for efficiency.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and monitor the retail landscape.
• Leverage omni‑channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
